Anton Schmoll has been employed by O&W Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH since 2013 and is admitted to the bar in Hamburg. He studied in Hamburg and St. Petersburg. During his apprenticeship, he mainly worked at the customs senate at the Hamburg finance court. During this time, he processed complaints from companies against customs notices. He also worked for the main customs office in Hamburg-Stadt and is therefore very familiar with the internal peculiarities of the customs administration, since there he also processed customs fines and criminal proceedings against those responsible for customs.

Mr. Schmoll speaks fluent Russian and is therefore also the contact person for our Russia Desk Russian-speaking clients as well as for German companies that want to expand to Russia. During his studies in St. Petersburg, he developed important expertise in Russian law and gained important practical experience with Russian companies while working for an international law firm in Moscow.

- Wegweisende Entscheidung beim Finanzgericht München zur Nachforderungen von Zöllen nach vorheriger Erstattung
- Sicherung einer Erstattung von ca. 2,5 Mio. Euro für ein in Australien börsennotiertes Unternehmen beim Import von Video-Monitoren, das der Zoll abweichend tarifiert hatte. Die Erstattung konnte ohne Klage im Rahmen von Verhandlungen mit dem Zoll gesichert werden (2019)
