Imposition of an anti-dumping duty on silicon from China

The European Commission has adopted a final Anti-dumping duty on imports of silicon originating in the People’s Republic of China.

The silicon concerned is classified under CN code 2804 69 00.

This is the result of an expiry review carried out by the Commission at the request of Euroalliages, the Community of Silicon Producers of the European Union. The anti-dumping duty, which has been in force since 2010, is thus maintained but its level changed.

The new anti-dumping duty rates are as follows:

Business Rate of duty
Datong Jinneng Industrial Silicon Co., Pingwang Industry Garden, Datong, Shanxi 16,3 %
All other companies 16,8 %
