Ms. Gemma Sanz Puig has been admitted to the Hamburg Bar Association as a “Fachanwalt für Transportrecht und Speditionsrecht”.
Only those with significant additional qualifications may hold a title as a specialist solicitor. Theoretical courses and special practical experience must be demonstrated for this purpose. By this additional training the specialist lawyer title proves a high standard at specialized knowledge.
The activities of a specialist lawyer for transport law and freight forwarding law are varied. A specialist lawyer for transport law represents carriers, freight forwarders and other companies from the logistics industry. He is regularly involved not only with national but also with cross-border transport. This includes the drafting of logistics contracts as well as knowledge of transport insurance and the management and defence of recourse in the event of damage.
