The European Union has formally imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on Chinese and Taiwanese imports of stainless steel sheets.
The Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/501 imposes provisional punitive duties accordingly. The product concerned is “cold-rolled stainless steel flat products” and therefore stainless steel sheets. The product concerned originates in China and Taiwan. These imports have been subject to customs registration since 17 December 2014. This follows an anti-dumping investigation. Here it turned out that the manufacturers in China and Taiwan produce the goods up to 35 percent below the production and transport costs.
