Investigation procedure to circumvent anti-dumping duties on citric acid

By Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/706 of 30.04.2015, the European Commission launched an own-initiative investigation into the alleged circumvention of the anti-dumping measures. Imports of citric acid originating in the People³s Republic of China and imports of citric acid from Malaysia are concerned. It is irrelevant whether they have been declared as originating in Malaysia or not.

The product concerned by the alleged circumvention is citric acid (including tri-sodium citrate dihydrate) falling within CN codes 29181400 and ex 29181500.

This investigation is expected to be completed within nine months of publication. Under certain conditions, it is possible to participate in the investigation procedure, in particular as an interested party.
