The European Union (EU) has extended economic sanctions against the Russian Federation until 31 January 2016. They were directed against the largest Russian banks, against the Russian oil and gas industry and restrict the import and export of military equipment. Look here.
These economic sanctions affect not only Russian but also numerous European companies. After all, any violation, even if it is only a lawful driving offence, can be sanctioned considerably.
