The European Commission has approved several Anti-dumping investigationson imports of hot-rolled flat products of iron or steel originating in the People’s Republic of China, Brazil, Iran, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine. This threatens the imposition of provisional and definitive anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties.

Interested parties have the opportunity to participate in the investigation procedure. Depending on the investigation procedure, provisional or definitive anti-dumping and/or anti-subsidy duties may be imposed within 9 to 15 months.

Flat products falling within Chapter 72 of the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The product to be tested is hot-rolled flat products of iron, non-alloyed steel or alloyed steel (excluding stainless steel), also in coils, also cut goods and narrow strip, only hot-rolled (hot-rolled flat products), neither plated nor coated, excluding grain-oriented silicon electric steel.
